Black Widow Spiders
lyrics by P.M. "Nick" Nicholes

	BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS

Rock diggers in the high desert south of Shawmut
Found the deadliest spiders I ever saw
But they put them in a bottle anyway for me to bring to you
Cause keeping scary pets is something that you really like to do

	Black widow spiders
There were three of them and now there are two
	Black widow spiders
Neither one of them reminds me of you

They have eight legs and a poison sack
And except for the red hourglass they're all over black
They've got ugly little mandibles and poison fangs
And I really don't see how you could love those things

	Black widow spiders
We keep them in the kitchen in a jar
	Black widow spiders
If they get away let's hope they don't get very far

	Black widow spiders
Building webs under the dashboard of my car
	Black widow spiders
Crawling up the neck of my guitar

	Black widow spiders
They're really no more dangerous than a mouse
But most people still don't want them in the house

	Black widow spiders
They're really no more dangerous than a mouse
But most people still don't want them in the house
	Black widow spiders
