Volectar's Guitar 5 is built on a new Jay Turser JT-50, a black SG style instrument. It now has Golden Age pickups from Stewart-McDonald. Featuring variable coil taps and the unique volector joystick control circuit, this highly versatile guitar inspires creativity.

The toggle switch switches the volector joystick circuit between same polarity "in-phase" and opposite polarity "out-of-phase" wiring between the pickups.
There are two tone controls for each pickup - the two closer to the pickguard are for the neck pickup, the two closer to the cable jack modify the bridge pickup's sound.
The upper knobs use a variable coil tap to adjust the bass level. The knobs farther away from the strings are ordinary treble adjustment tone controls.
The pickguard is clear mirrored acrylic, designed by Kate, custom cut by our CNC machine, with the edges hand polished by Janis.

Guitar 5 also of course wears a Volector badge on the truss rod cover.

Beauty marks: One little dent in the wood of the fingerboard. A little scuffing on the back of the pickguard near the neck, where the shielding ground wire attaches.
Guitar 5 was the third volector guitar we offered for sale. Its package included a 20ft right-angle-plug dual-signal cable with twin 2ft cable tails, and the molded hard case shown in the photos (SKB model 1SKB-6). [SOLD].
